Franca Loves Art

Franca Maria Berti is an art advisor and art educator living and working in Perth. Recently completing her studies in Art History at The University of Western Australia and going on to complete her Honours year, Franca has immersed herself in the Western Australian art scene during the past seven years. She has also travelled Australia wide and internationally to exhibitions, galleries and art fairs, speaking with artists, collectors and gallery owners.

Franca's services include Private Collection Art Advisory and Art Education. Her Private Collection Advisory includes sourcing artworks, art installation and insurance to all facets of managing and cataloguing the collection, collection essays and presentation of the collection. Franca's Art Education enables her to speak to many topics from reading an artwork to introducing artists and discussing their practices. Franca is passionate about opening up the artworld to everyone and providing as much information to people regards the art, artists and this alluring industry. Franca is currently working on a 3 session art program, a mini art course providing basic information about reading art, art genres and art periods for the ardent collector, this will involve a an introductory session and 2 site visits. The first session will cover the elements of formal analysis to arm you with tools to further read and understand the meaning of a work, the second and third sessions will include gallery visits and visits to artists studios.
